Damage claims

If the vehicle is damaged during a paid seat, the Driver returns it. The Owner opens the claim in the owner application. Drivers do not negotiate physical-damage settlement with the Owner directly. GigRentals is not a first-party insurer of either person.

After any collision involving injury, a police report is required. After any collision at all, the Driver stops using the car. Continuing to drive can be treated as a breach and can void remaining program coverage.

Wear under six inches, tires, interior, keys, mechanical failure, and downtime are not claimable against the program form. See Legal §3.
